About The
Friends Of Linden Hill
The Friends of Linden Hill, Inc., was created in 2007
to preserve and protect the living and structured
history and spirit of the Musser and Weyerhaeuser homes
and to showcase the houses and their history now and
for the future.
Funds raised are used to help educate, showcase,
preserve and restore these historic homes and their
heritage for the enjoyment of current and future
generations. Funds are raised via memberships,
contributions, fundraising events and rental of the
homes for group events.
Linden Hill, which consists of the historic mansions of
Richard Musser & Charles Weyerhaeuser, is owned by
the City of Little Falls and governed by a group of
dedicated volunteers called the "Friends of Linden
Hill".
Linden Hill Historical Event Center is a form of social
entrepreneurship that allows us to preserve and
maintain two historic homes and multiple buildings
on-site.
These beautiful mansions and grounds are made available
to the public for a variety of educational and
recreational uses. The income which is created frees up
volunteer and staff time as well as allowing financial
resources to be used for mission-related
programs.
